Dean C. Andreasen

Dean C. Andreasen is Director, Shareholder, and Chair of the Family Law Practice Group at Clyde Snow, where he also serves on the Management Committee. Known for his ability to blend legal strategy with financial insight, he represents clients in family law and estate planning matters, offering solutions grounded in both law and accounting.

Mr. Andreasen earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah College of Law in 1983. Before entering law, he completed a Master of Professional Accountancy in 1979 and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, magna cum laude, in 1978, both from the University of Utah. This dual foundation in law and finance gives him a unique advantage in resolving complex marital property, business valuation, and estate issues.

With extensive domestic litigation experience, Mr. Andreasen is also trained as a mediator and in the collaborative law process. A founding officer of the Collaborative Family Lawyers of Utah, he is committed to helping clients resolve disputes effectively while preserving relationships when possible. He has taught divorce and estate planning courses for attorneys seeking continuing legal education credit, furthering the profession’s standards.
