David A. Goldstein

David A. Goldstein is the founder and principal of David A. Goldstein Co., L.P.A., a Columbus-based law firm focused on insurance defense, personal injury, and complex civil litigation. With more than 25 years of legal experience—20 of those concentrated in trial and litigation—David has built a respected practice representing clients in high-stakes matters, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, slip and fall, and bad faith insurance claims.

David earned his B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from The Ohio State University in 1991. He received his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 1994.

David has served as lead counsel in over 100 personal injury trials and regularly represents major insurance carriers, including Safe Auto, The General, AmeriTrust, Dairyland, and Root Insurance. His litigation practice is backed by deep knowledge of insurance regulations and extensive courtroom experience. Before founding his firm, David worked as an Assistant Prosecutor for Franklin County, where he specialized in white-collar crime and collaborated with the Ohio Department of Insurance on fraudulent claims cases.

David is also a frequent lecturer and continuing legal education instructor on topics such as trial advocacy, ethics, evidence, and claims handling. His professional recognition includes an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and selection as a 2021 Ohio Super Lawyer—an honor earned by just five percent of attorneys in the state.
