Dare E. Heisterman

Dare E. Heisterman is a dedicated labor and employment attorney with experience representing employers in a wide range of workplace legal matters. He handles cases involving employment discrimination, harassment, class action wage disputes, and unfair labor practices. He also represents clients in arbitration, mediation, and before both state and federal courts and agencies.

Dare earned a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. He later completed his Juris Doctor at The Ohio State University, Michael E. Moritz College of Law in Columbus, Ohio. While in law school, he was part of the Business Law Society and was recognized for earning the highest grades in his Legal Research and Writing courses.

Dare gained valuable legal experience through roles such as Judicial Extern for Judge George C. Smith, Legislative Intern at The Ohio Constitutional Modernization Commission, and Research Assistant to Professors Donald Tobin and Dr. TK Daniel. Before private practice, he served as Associate Corporate Counsel for the Arena Football League, advising on labor matters, collective bargaining, and grievance arbitration.

Dare has represented clients in the sports and entertainment industry, including high-profile athletes. His previous in-house counsel experience helps him guide employers on achieving their business goals while staying legally compliant. He is admitted to practice in Nevada, the U.S. District Court District of Nevada, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Dare is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and its Labor and Employment Law Section. He has been recognized by Nevada Business and Mountain States Super Lawyers for his contributions to the field. He also donates his time to the Children’s Attorneys Project of the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.
