Cara earned her B.S. in Sociocultural Anthropology from Portland State University. She went on to receive her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Her background in both anthropology and law helps her understand people, cultures, and the unique legal needs that arise in different business environments.

Before focusing on business law, Cara gained valuable experience working in public interest law and human rights. This work developed her sense of fairness and advocacy, which she brings to every client matter today. At JJH Law, she helps clients with business formation and transactional matters, making sure new ventures start off on the right foot.
