About
Clinton M Luth is an associate attorney who brings a unique background to his legal career. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a therapist supporting juveniles in the legal system. This experience gave him insight into the challenges people face when navigating complex situations. Today, his practice spans appellate advocacy, criminal defense, constitutional law, civil rights, and workplace discrimination. Luth is committed to guiding clients through difficult legal issues with diligence and care.
Luth earned his B.S. from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2011 and his M.S. from Fort Hays State University in 2013. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2017. Licensed to practice in Iowa, he is an active member of the Iowa State Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division, reflecting his dedication to both professional growth and community service.
After law school, Luth moved to Des Moines, where he clerked for Iowa’s Fifth Judicial Branch and later worked for the Iowa State Court Administration. These experiences allowed him to develop a strong understanding of judicial processes and sharpen his legal skills. He has since applied this knowledge to private practice, representing clients in civil and criminal matters while securing meaningful results through settlements and litigation.
Clinton M Luth views his role as more than just providing legal arguments—he emphasizes the importance of supporting clients throughout every step of the process. His approach balances advocacy with empathy, ensuring that clients feel both represented and understood. By combining legal expertise with his background in counseling, Luth provides a well-rounded, people-centered approach to practicing law in Iowa.
