Robert P. Montgomery

Robert P. Montgomery serves as Of Counsel and brings decades of courtroom and appellate experience to his practice. A former partner of the firm, he continues to handle matters in criminal defense, civil rights, personal injury, and general litigation. Known for his trial work, Montgomery has represented clients in numerous high-stakes cases and earned a reputation for securing acquittals, dismissals, and favorable settlements in both state and federal courts.

Montgomery earned his B.B.A. from the University of Iowa in 1985 and his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1988. Admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1989, he is also admitted before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
