Cesar A. Juarez

Cesar A. Juarez is a shareholder and attorney at Lynn, Jackson, Shultz & Lebrun, P.C. in Sioux Falls. Cesar practices commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, employment litigation, and trusts and probate litigation. He represents clients in contested matters and also advises on employment and noncompete agreements, helping businesses and individuals evaluate legal rights, litigation risk, negotiation options, and practical next steps.

Cesar graduated summa cum laude from Mount Marty College in 2008 and earned his law degree, with honors, from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2011. After law school, he completed a judicial clerkship for the Second Judicial Circuit Court before entering private practice in Sioux Falls in 2012. His education and clerkship strengthened his legal research, writing, case analysis, and courtroom preparation skills.

Cesar has handled commercial, contract, construction, employment, personal injury, probate, and trust disputes. His experience also includes business formation, restructuring and acquisitions, human-resources compliance and training, employment claims, trade-secret disputes, noncompete matters, shareholder oppression issues, and matters involving the Department of Labor and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. This range of work allows him to address both business planning concerns and contested litigation with a practical understanding of client objectives.
