Kimberly J. Lanham

Kimberly J. Lanham is a partner with Johnson, Janklow & Abdallah, LLP in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose practice is devoted to litigation. She handles personal injury and civil litigation involving motor vehicle collisions, slip and fall claims, daycare abuse, wrongful death, premises liability, and uninsured and underinsured motorist matters. Kimberly also handles bad faith, criminal defense, and family law matters and represents clients in jury trials, court trials, mediations, and arbitrations.

Kimberly received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Criminal Justice and Spanish, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of South Dakota in 2001. She earned her law degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln School of Law in 2004 and completed a Program of Concentrated Study of Litigation Skills. Her law school activities included the Nebraska Moot Court Board and The Order of the Barristers, supporting the courtroom and writing skills central to her litigation practice.

Kimberly has tried numerous jury and court cases and has handled appeals in state and federal matters. Her representative experience includes motor vehicle accident cases, contract disputes, insurance matters, criminal appeals, and other contested proceedings. She has also participated in mediations and arbitrations as part of a practice that is fully dedicated to litigation. This broad experience allows her to evaluate evidence, prepare cases for trial, and pursue resolutions through both courtroom and alternative dispute processes.

Kimberly has achieved a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating and has received academic and professional honors including Phi Beta Kappa and the Kenneth L. Noha Memorial Award.
