Megan Overmann Goetz

Megan Overmann Goetz is a partner at Pence and MacMillan, P.C., where her practice emphasizes business advising, civil litigation, and transactional law. She provides counsel on corporate governance, banking, real estate, employment, and human resources issues, and also serves as an independent investigator for government and private entities. Her background also includes experience in domestic, juvenile, and criminal law.

Megan earned her Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University before completing her Juris Doctor at the University of Wyoming College of Law. Following law school, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Jeffrey Donnell and Honorable Kenneth Stebner in Wyoming’s Second Judicial District Court. This early experience provided valuable insight into litigation and judicial decision-making, shaping her approach to advocacy and client representation.

Outside her legal practice, Megan is a trusted statewide leader in Wyoming. Appointed by Governor Mark Gordon in 2021, she currently serves as Chair of the Wyoming Community College Commission. She previously co-chaired the Wyoming Business Council’s Board of Directors alongside the Governor and was honored as the 2019 Wyoming Women of Influence Law Honoree.
