About
Brent Buchsbaum is a seasoned employment law attorney with more than two decades of experience advocating for employees. Throughout his career, he has taken on some of the nation’s most powerful corporations, including Chevron, Bank of America, Walmart, and Boeing. His practice spans wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, retaliation, wage disputes, and large-scale class actions.
Brent earned his bachelor’s degree cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1994 before completing his Juris Doctor at the University of San Diego School of Law in 1997. While in law school, he found his passion for protecting employee rights, dedicating himself to representing workers rather than corporations. His education and early experiences shaped a career committed to leveling the playing field for employees facing workplace injustice.
Over the past 20 years, Brent has achieved settlements, verdicts, and awards exceeding $50 million. His results include multi-million-dollar recoveries for individuals and groups of employees, as well as substantial jury verdicts against both private corporations and public entities. With proven ability as lead trial counsel, he has secured justice for clients across a broad socioeconomic spectrum.
In recognition of his accomplishments, Brent Buchsbaum has been consistently selected as a Super Lawyer from 2012 through 2023 and is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He is also active in professional organizations, including the California Employment Lawyers Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and Long Beach Bar Association. Through his relentless advocacy and dedication, Brent continues to make a significant impact in the fight for employee rights across California.
