Kenneth Shinbaum has practiced law in Alabama for decades, concentrating his career on representing individuals in personal injury, wrongful death, and accident-related litigation. He also provides legal advocacy in employment disputes, civil rights violations, constitutional claims, and cases involving government administrative law. His work has helped clients pursue justice and obtain fair outcomes in challenging legal disputes.
Kenneth began his academic journey at Tulane University, where he earned his B.S. in 1974. He went on to complete his J.D. at the University of Alabama School of Law in 1977. Continuing his professional development, he obtained an L.L.M. in Taxation from the same institution in 1987. While in law school, he served on the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board and was a member of the Bench and Bar Honor Society.
Kenneth is admitted to practice before the Alabama courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts of Alabama. In addition, he has served as an appellate mediator since 2004, using his legal insight to help parties resolve complex disputes outside of trial.
Kenneth maintains active involvement in professional organizations, including the Alabama Bar Association, Alabama Association for Justice, Montgomery County Bar Association, Montgomery County Association for Justice, and the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution. He has also shared his experience with peers as a presenter at continuing legal education seminars, focusing particularly on employment law and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
