Anthony Michael Tatti

Anthony Michael Tatti, Esquire, is one of Florida’s most accomplished criminal trial lawyers, bringing nearly four decades of experience to his practice. He began his career as a trusted law clerk for a respected defense attorney and quickly advanced through public service roles. Over the years, he gained extensive courtroom experience, handling some of the state’s most complex and serious criminal cases.

Anthony M. Tatti earned his B.A. in Political Science and Government from the University of South Florida before completing his J.D. at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. His strong academic foundation prepared him for the challenges of criminal defense, prosecution, and judicial service, providing him with the legal knowledge and analytical skills necessary for his success in the courtroom.

Following admission to the Florida Bar in 1985, Mr. Tatti served as an Assistant Public Defender and later as an Assistant State Attorney in the Fifth Judicial Circuit. In these roles, he tried hundreds of jury trials, including more than twenty first-degree murder cases where the death penalty was sought. His reputation as an authority in death penalty law earned him recognition statewide, along with leadership roles in multiple circuit offices.

In 2011, Governor Rick Scott appointed Anthony M. Tatti as a Circuit Judge, where he served for nearly 13 years with distinction. He developed judicial education programs and trained judges on handling capital cases. Now in private practice, Mr. Tatti draws on his wide-ranging experience to provide effective defense for clients. His career reflects a lifelong dedication to justice, advocacy, and the protection of legal rights in Florida’s courts.
