Steven R. Dwyer

Steven R. Dwyer is a dedicated criminal defense lawyer with a strong record of representing clients in complex legal matters. He focuses his practice on workers’ compensation, Social Security disability, criminal defense, personal injury litigation, business formation, and civil disputes. Steven earned dual undergraduate degrees, one in Psychology and the other in Administration of Justice, from The Pennsylvania State University. He later pursued his legal studies and received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida A&M Law School. During law school, he gained valuable experience working at the law school library, interning with the Orlando Public Defender’s Office, and assisting Attorney Diana Tennis before she was appointed to the Florida Ninth Judicial Circuit Court.

Steven was admitted to practice in all Wyoming state courts and began his career at Meyer & Williams in Jackson after graduation. While there, the firm secured several multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements, providing him with early experience in significant litigation. In 2010, he established The Law Offices of Steven R. Dwyer, LLC, where he expanded his practice to include a wide range of legal areas. His ability to manage complex cases and his commitment to ongoing professional development have earned him recognition as a trusted counselor and advocate.

Steven R. Dwyer has worked to improve access to justice in Wyoming, extending his efforts beyond his private practice. He is a founding board member of the Teton County Access to Justice Center, which provides essential legal resources to underserved communities in the area. He also co-founded Alpine Trails and Pathways, contributing to community development and public resources.
