Jimmie Sparrow, III, is a dedicated criminal defense and family law attorney who brings unique insight from his background in law enforcement and prosecution. Before entering private practice, he worked as a police officer and detective in Marion County, Florida, where he saw firsthand the importance of strong advocacy in the justice system. Mr. Sparrow earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University while working in law enforcement. He later pursued his J.D. at the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia, where he gained trial experience as a prosecutor in the Buchanan County State Attorney’s Office. Licensed to practice in Florida State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, his education and training prepared him for a career of effective trial advocacy.
After law school, Mr. Sparrow served as an Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Fifth Judicial Circuit. He prosecuted a wide range of cases, including complex investigations into law enforcement conduct, internal affairs matters, and grand jury proceedings. These roles gave him extensive trial experience and a comprehensive understanding of how cases are investigated, built, and prosecuted in both state and federal courts.
In 2016, Jimmie Sparrow, III, founded Sparrow Law Office, P.A., later expanding it into Sparrow & Fairchild, Attorneys at Law. His practice is built on integrity, trust, and diligent representation. He provides personalized service, guiding clients through the complexities of criminal and family law matters.
