J. Mac C. Pilgrim

J. Mac C. Pilgrim has built his career as a skilled trial attorney dedicated to representing clients across Georgia. With a focus on both civil and criminal cases, he has developed a reputation for his courtroom experience, having presented more than 120 jury trials in over 40 jurisdictions throughout the state. His work includes representing individuals facing serious felony charges as well as pursuing multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements in civil matters.

Mac began his education in Villa Rica, completing his studies at Villa Rica High School in 1992. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from The University of West Georgia in 1997. Afterward, he was accepted into John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2000. This solid academic foundation prepared him for the broad range of cases he would later handle throughout his legal career.

Mac’s legal journey started with positions at several Atlanta-area law firms, where he focused heavily on personal injury cases. During this time, he gained valuable trial experience and sharpened his advocacy skills. After eight years of working for other firms, he made the decision to open his own practice in 2006, driven by his passion for litigation and his desire to serve people in his community more directly. That decision allowed him to focus fully on trial work, an area he continues to pursue vigorously.
