Andrew N. Firkins

Andrew N. Firkins is an associate attorney with Spicer Rudstrom PLLC, focusing his practice on a wide range of civil matters. He represents clients in civil rights litigation, construction law, insurance defense, premises liability, products liability, transportation law, and commercial disputes. Known for his thorough preparation and strong advocacy, Mr. Firkins works to deliver effective legal solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

Mr. Firkins earned his B.A. in History from Manhattan College in 2005. He went on to receive his J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 2011. During law school, he gained valuable experience as a law clerk for a New Jersey law firm, building a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and case management.

Mr. Firkins began his career in New Jersey as part of an insurance coverage and defense practice group, where he handled complex litigation matters. After relocating to Knoxville in 2014, he continued his work in insurance defense before joining Spicer Rudstrom PLLC. Today, his practice covers business and commercial litigation, real estate disputes, landlord-tenant matters, healthcare-related claims, and various insurance coverage issues.

Mr. Firkins is admitted to practice in Tennessee, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. His professional honors include recognition in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America (2023–2024) and as a Mid-South Super Lawyers Rising Star (2022).
