Amy Van Ostrand

Amy Van Ostrand is a seasoned Indiana attorney who has focused her legal career on representing individuals in wrongful death and personal injury cases. Practicing since 1999, she has handled complex litigation in both Indiana State and Federal Courts and is widely recognized for her appellate work. Amy has authored legal briefs before the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Indiana Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, showcasing her strong writing and legal reasoning skills.

Amy earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1999. Throughout her career, she has worked at some of Indiana’s most respected law firms, including Faegre Baker Daniels. Her dedication to legal excellence and community service earned her selection as an Indianapolis Bar Foundation (IBF) Distinguished Fellow in 2019—an honor awarded to attorneys with high professional standing and meaningful service to the legal community.
