Allyson N. Ho is a partner at Gibson Dunn’s Dallas office and co-chair of the firm’s Appellate and Constitutional Law practice group. As a leading lawsuits and disputes lawyer, she represents clients in complex appellate litigation and high-stakes business disputes across the country, including before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Allyson earned her Juris Doctor with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she served on the Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Allyson also holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in English Literature from Rice University and a B.A. magna cum laude from Duke University. She clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and Judge Jacques L. Wiener Jr. on the Fifth Circuit.
Allyson has presented over 100 oral arguments in federal and state courts nationwide. Her cases span key areas such as constitutional law, ERISA, administrative law, employment, patent, and bankruptcy. She has secured significant wins in every U.S. Court of Appeals and several state supreme courts, often reversing precedent in favor of business clients.
