Alex graduated with honors from the University of Florida, earning a dual degree in Political Science and Criminology with a 3.95 GPA. A National Merit Scholar, he consistently achieved academic excellence, appearing on the Dean’s or President’s list every semester. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the same institution, where he served as Managing Editor for two major law journals and received accolades for his work in White Collar Crime.
During law school, Alex completed two summer clerkships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Jacksonville and a Federal District Court Judge. These early experiences laid the groundwork for his sharp litigation skills and strategic legal insight. His commitment to public service continued as an Assistant State Attorney, where he managed the DUI Unit in Florida’s Fourth Judicial Circuit.
While serving in that role, Alex was recognized as Prosecutor of the Year by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). He also worked closely with legislative committees and trained prosecutors and law enforcement officers throughout the southeastern United States, becoming a recognized authority in DUI prosecution.
