David M. Robbins

David M. Robbins is a highly respected criminal defense attorney and co-founder of Epstein & Robbins. With a legal career spanning over four decades, he has concentrated much of his practice on DUI/DWI law, earning recognition as a leading authority in this complex and technical area of criminal defense throughout Florida.

David completed both his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Florida, receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Law School. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1972. Soon after, he began his career as an Assistant State Attorney in Jacksonville, where he served for approximately three years before transitioning into private practice in 1975.

Since co-founding Epstein & Robbins, David has focused his practice exclusively on criminal defense, with a strong emphasis on DUI cases. He is widely respected for his meticulous case preparation and deep understanding of Florida DUI laws and procedures. Legal organizations frequently invite him to share his expertise, and he has presented at leading programs including the Florida Bar’s Masters of DUI Defense and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Blood, Breath, and Tears seminar.

David holds memberships in several prestigious organizations, including the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Jacksonville Bar Association. He has served in leadership roles, such as Vice Chairman of the Florida Bar’s Traffic Rules Committee and as a member of the Rules of Judicial Administration Committee.
