Yangyidi Ye

Yangyidi Ye is the managing partner and founding member of Causey & Ye Law, P.L.L.C., where she focuses on bridging international and U.S. legal and business communities. Recognized as a Top-Rated International Attorney in Des Moines, IA, and selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2021–2024, she advises clients in business, tax, immigration, and complex cross-border matters.

Yangyidi earned her LL.M. in Taxation with honors and distinctions from Georgetown University, gaining experience through internships with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s International Tax Counsel Office and the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. She is licensed to practice in Iowa and Minnesota and is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Yangyidi’s practice covers general business law, civil and criminal tax matters, fraud and asset recovery, commercial litigation, white-collar defense, and immigration law. She has represented start-ups, multinational corporations, and investors in industries including hospitality, manufacturing, IT, and commercial real estate. Her work often involves mergers and acquisitions, EB-5 projects, and investor visa applications, as well as EB-1, H-1B, and EB-2 NIW filings.

Yangyidi’s achievements include representing Chinese buyers in an $18 million hotel acquisition, securing multimillion-dollar settlements in complex personal injury and business disputes, and winning significant verdicts in fraud and contract litigation. She has also recovered substantial sums in cross-border financial disputes and successfully enforced U.S. judgments in China.

Yangyidi Ye is active in professional and civic organizations, serving on the Iowa State Bar Association’s International Law and Taxation Section Councils, the Minnesota Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Her leadership extends to the Sister City Commission of West Des Moines and various community initiatives, earning her multiple awards for business and international leadership.
