Williamson earned his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown Law, strengthening his expertise in advanced tax issues. He also holds a joint J.D./M.B.A. degree from Belmont University College of Law, where he attended on a Dean’s scholarship and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in State and Local Taxation. He earned his B.S.B.A. in Economics from Samford University, where his capstone research focused on the relationship between tax policy and public markets — an area that sparked his long-term commitment to tax law.

Before joining Harris Shelton, Williamson built valuable experience through meaningful roles that shaped his perspective and approach. He has served on a nonprofit board in Nashville, conducted investment analysis in Rwanda for Westrock Coffee, and completed a congressional internship on Capitol Hill. These diverse experiences give him a broad understanding of how tax and business issues intersect with the real world.
