Jesse Chapel

Jesse Chapel is a Partner at Hartzog Conger Cason, where he brings over a decade of experience in tax law, estate planning, and corporate transactions. He provides high-level counsel to individuals, families, and organizations on matters ranging from asset protection and trust litigation to charitable giving and tax controversies.

Mr. Chapel earned his Juris Doctor summa cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he graduated in the top five percent of his class. He later obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, further strengthening his expertise in complex tax and estate matters. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Oklahoma.

Mr. Chapel advises clients on trust and estate administration, wealth transfer strategies, tax planning, and business structuring. He is also experienced in representing charitable organizations and guiding mergers, acquisitions, and private securities offerings with tax precision and regulatory compliance.

Admitted to practice in Oklahoma and the U.S. Tax Court, Mr. Chapel is a former Chair of the Oklahoma Bar Association Tax Section and has held leadership roles in multiple tax and estate planning organizations. He previously served as a tax partner at Andrews Davis, PC, providing legal opinions and dispute resolution services on IRS and state-level tax matters.

Mr. Chapel’s diverse background includes earlier roles as a Budget Analyst for the Office of State Finance and as an associate with several respected Oklahoma law firms. His well-rounded perspective supports his ability to structure deals effectively, resolve disputes, and protect client assets.
