About
William Crotty is an immigration attorney who focuses his practice on employment-based immigration. He represents employers and employees across a range of industries and offers legal support for temporary visa petitions and permanent residence applications. With hands-on experience in immigration matters for businesses of all sizes, William delivers tailored solutions that support workforce development and compliance.
Before attending law school, William worked at a boutique executive search firm, where he partnered with clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 10 companies on talent acquisition strategies. This role exposed him to immigration law from the employer’s perspective and provided a deep understanding of industry-specific job functions and workforce challenges.
William earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2022, where he was recognized as Best Oralist in the Stanley Moot Court Competition. He joined Garfinkel Immigration as a law clerk before advancing to his current role as an associate attorney.
William has extensive experience preparing nonimmigrant visa petitions, including P-1A, H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, and TN classifications. He also handles employment-based green card applications, particularly EB-1 and EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions. His clients include professionals, executives, and multinational companies navigating the evolving landscape of U.S. immigration law.
Fluent in Spanish and a seasoned international traveler, William has visited more than 30 countries across six continents. His global perspective enhances his approach to cross-border legal matters and adds depth to his client representation.
William Crotty is also active in the firm’s Education Specialty Practice Group, supporting schools and academic institutions with immigration needs.
