Ashley began her legal career at the Charlotte Immigration Law Firm, practicing in one of the country’s most demanding immigration courts. There, she handled cases involving asylum, family-based green card applications, and provided legal advice to clients dealing with the immigration consequences of criminal charges.

Ashley Lively is an immigration attorney with extensive experience in asylum, cancellation of removal, citizenship, deportation defense, family-based immigration, immigration appeals, nonimmigrant visas, waivers, and Temporary Protected Status (TPS). She is especially dedicated to protecting vulnerable individuals and is widely recognized for her work in asylum law, including a published article in the Journal of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law on gender-based asylum claims.

Ashley is a long-standing member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has served in several leadership roles, including co-chair of AILA’s Pittsburgh chapter and the Allegheny County Bar Association Immigration Law Group.
