Ashley E. Lively is the founder and lead attorney of Lively Law Firm, where she brings a fierce dedication to every case she handles. Ashley earned her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she also obtained certificates in Civil Litigation and International Law.
Ashley began her legal career at the Charlotte Immigration Law Firm, practicing in one of the country’s most demanding immigration courts. There, she handled cases involving asylum, family-based green card applications, and provided legal advice to clients dealing with the immigration consequences of criminal charges.
Ashley Lively’s experience spans many immigration areas, including asylum, cancellation of removal, citizenship, deportation defense, family immigration, immigration appeals, non-immigrant visas, waivers, and Temporary Protected Status. Ashley is especially passionate about defending vulnerable individuals and has been recognized for her work in asylum law, including publication in the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law for her research on gender-based claims.
Ashley is a long-standing member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has served in several leadership roles, including co-chair of AILA’s Pittsburgh chapter and the Allegheny County Bar Association Immigration Law Group.
Ashley Lively’s honors include recognition as a Top 40 Immigration Attorney under 40 (PA), Pro Bono Attorney of the Year (PA), and one of Attorney and Practice Magazine’s Top 10 Immigration Attorneys (NC).
