Nam Douglass

Nam Douglass is a highly skilled immigration attorney with over a decade of legal experience. She has worked on various immigration matters and leads the Litigation Practice at her firm. Nam is certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Specialist in Immigration Law, which is the highest level of legal certification available in the state. Her background in policy work and economic development adds depth to her approach in solving complex immigration issues, especially those related to employment-based cases.

Nam earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2011. She also holds an M.A., magna cum laude (1998), and a B.A., cum laude (1995), from Virginia Tech, giving her a strong academic foundation for her legal career.

Nam has helped individuals and employers with a wide range of immigration cases. She prepares H, L, and TN visa petitions, green card applications, and student visa filings. She also guides clients through the PERM labor certification process. In the athletics industry, she supports both employers and foreign nationals with P-1A, P-1S, and O visa petitions, as well as lawful permanent residency applications.

Nam has also worked in family-based and humanitarian immigration. Her experience includes naturalization cases, citizenship certificates, and visas for victims of crime (U visas) and human trafficking (T visas).
