Wallace “Wally” L. Stock

Wallace “Wally” L. Stock is a founding member of Bailey | Stock | Harmon | Cottam | Lopez LLP and a Wyoming family law lawyer. He has more than 30 years of trial experience, primarily involving complex divorces, significant assets, paternity, custody, and visitation lawsuits and disputes. He represents clients in family and domestic matters while drawing on extensive courtroom and mediation experience. He is admitted before all local, state, and federal courts in Wyoming.

Mr. Stock earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1981. He earned his B.S. from the University of Wyoming in 1975. Before entering legal practice, he worked as a teacher and coach at Laramie High School. His background in education and athletics contributes to his communication skills and practical approach to sensitive family disputes.

Mr. Stock has mediated hundreds of domestic cases involving family conflict and the distribution of major assets. He frequently serves as a court-appointed guardian ad litem for minor children. He has handled child support, adoption, paternity, custody, visitation, family mediation, and civil litigation matters. He served as counsel for Laramie County Community College from 1996 through 2007. He has served as a hearing officer for the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department. He currently serves the Laramie County Board of Equalization and County Commissioners as a hearing officer.
