Tor J. Friedman

Attorney Tor J. Friedman is a highly accomplished Tallahassee lawyer known for his dedication to justice and his record of successful litigation. Tor earned his Bachelor of Arts in 2001 from the University of Florida, followed by his Juris Doctorate in 2005 from Florida State University College of Law. During law school, he was an active member of the FSU College of Law Mock Trial Team, competing in local and national tournaments. His early clerkship experience in employment law and workers’ compensation defense provided him with a strong understanding of litigation strategy and client representation.

Tor began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Leon County, Florida, handling cases in the juvenile, traffic, misdemeanor, and felony divisions. He has successfully tried and won cases in each of these areas. His skill and professionalism later led to his appointment as an Adjunct Professor at Florida State University College of Law, where he teaches trial practice and mentors aspiring attorneys.

Throughout his career, Tor has been recognized for his professional excellence and leadership. His accolades include being named a Florida Legal Elite attorney in 2008 and 2018, a distinction earned by fewer than two percent of Florida lawyers. He was also honored as a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2010.
