About
Jeremy Kisling is a partner at Kisling Law, LLC, serving Sheridan, Johnson, and Campbell Counties. A fifth-generation Wyoming native, he began building his legal career while still in law school, gaining hands-on experience as Student Director of the University of Wyoming College of Law’s Legal Services Clinic. This foundation shaped his commitment to providing accessible and ethical representation for Wyoming residents.
Jeremy earned both his B.A. in Agricultural Business and Business Administration and his J.D. from the University of Wyoming. During law school, he was recognized with the CLEA Outstanding Clinic Student Award, the American Academy of Trial Lawyers Outstanding Student Award, and the Excellence in Advocacy Award. He also served as a Senior Staff member on the Wyoming Law Review and authored a scholarship addressing Wyoming’s juvenile justice system.
After graduation, Jeremy clerked for the Honorable John G. Fenn of the Fourth Judicial District Court, gaining valuable insight into trial and appellate processes. He went on to practice privately and later worked as a public defender in Sheridan, representing clients in complex criminal cases. Licensed in all Wyoming state and federal courts, he has tried numerous matters ranging from serious felonies to misdemeanor charges, in addition to family law and civil disputes.
Beyond his client advocacy, Jeremy Kisling contributes to his community through service on the boards of The Children’s Center and Johnson County Juvenile Mentoring. He has also served on the Wyoming State Bar Foundation Board and is an active member of the Wyoming Bar Association, Sheridan County Bar Association, and Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association. Through this combination of courtroom skill and civic leadership, Jeremy provides trusted legal counsel tailored to the needs of his clients and community.
