Timothy Jones practices U.S. immigration law with a focus on family immigration and business immigration matters. Licensed in Idaho, he has been serving clients in Eastern Idaho since 2011 and represents individuals and businesses across the United States and around the world. His work centers on helping clients navigate complex immigration processes with clarity and efficiency.
Timothy earned his BS from Brigham Young University, 2004, followed by his BS, Utah Valley University, 2006, and his JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, 2011. His academic background supports his detailed and process-driven approach to immigration law.
Timothy speaks regularly to student groups about the marriage green card process and has written a book on K-1 visas, available for sale on Amazon. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and is active in the Idaho AILA chapter, where he previously served as Secretary and Treasurer. From 2014 to 2015, he also served as President of the Shelley Kiwanis Club.
Timothy’s work experience includes serving as an attorney at Idaho Immigration Law (2014 – Present), an attorney at Law Office of Timothy Jones, PLLC (2011 – Present), an attorney at Just Law (2014 – 2018), and a Law Clerk at Burg Simpson (2009 – 2011). He also speaks German, which can assist clients who prefer communication in that language.
