About
Taylor M. Arri brings a unique blend of legal expertise and social work experience to her litigation practice. She focuses on general commercial litigation, employment disputes, personal injury, and medical malpractice, handling each case with empathy and precision. Her client-centered approach stems from years of advocacy work supporting vulnerable individuals.
Taylor earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City in 2020, where she excelled in trial advocacy. She was Vice-President of the Board of Barristers, a National Trial Competition finalist, and earned the Terry L. Thomas Trial Practice Achievement Award. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2015.
Before becoming an attorney, Taylor served as a Victim Advocate and Volunteer Coordinator at True North of Columbia, a nonprofit aiding survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Appearing in court on behalf of clients inspired her to pursue law, where she could directly defend and represent those without a voice. Her experience in trauma-informed advocacy continues to shape her legal perspective.
While in law school, Taylor gained significant courtroom experience through an internship with the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office. Under the Kansas Legal Intern Permit, she managed an 80-case docket and independently tried misdemeanors, including domestic violence and drug-related charges. She also completed a jury trial from voir dire to closing argument before graduating.
Taylor M. Arri’s legal training included clerkships with federal judge Roseann Ketchmark and litigation-focused law firms in Kansas City. Best Lawyers recognized her as Ones to Watch (2023–2024) and is a Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys member. She also serves on the Summit Theatre Group’s Board of Directors, reflecting her passion for community involvement.
