Taylor Adams

Taylor Adams is an employment law attorney at HKM Employment Attorneys LLP’s Charlotte, North Carolina office. Taylor earned his J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2016, after completing his B.S. at Appalachian State University in 2011.

Before joining HKM Employment Attorneys LLP, Taylor served for seven years as a criminal defense attorney at the Mecklenburg County Public Defender’s Office. There, he built a strong foundation in litigation, handling cases that ranged from minor offenses to serious charges, including murder. This extensive courtroom experience sharpened his advocacy skills and prepared him to manage high-stakes legal matters with confidence and professionalism.

His background in trial law gives him a strong edge in both negotiations and courtroom settings. He is admitted to the State Bar of North Carolina and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina.
