Sweekrutha Shankar is the Co-Founder and Head of Immigration Business at Shankar Ninan & Co. LLP in New York. She leads one of the region’s most active immigration law practices, representing companies across industries such as finance, technology, pharmaceuticals, and retail. Known for her strategic approach and deep subject matter knowledge, Sweekrutha focuses on helping employers and individuals navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration law.

Sweekrutha earned her J.D. from Touro College Law Center and her B.S., cum laude, in Finance from Temple University.

With 10+ years of corporate immigration experience, Sweekrutha leads a high-volume team that prepares and files over 850 H-1B petitions annually. Her practice covers a full spectrum of employment-based immigration options, including H-1B, TN, L-1, E-3, O-1, P-3, R-1 visas, and green card sponsorship through PERM, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, and EB-5.
