Jordan Handy, Esq., is a dedicated criminal defense attorney and founder of Handy Law PLLC in Burlington, Vermont. Known as “The DUI Guy,” Mr. Handy focuses his practice on defending individuals facing DUI charges and a wide range of serious criminal offenses, including domestic assault, drug charges, fraud, sex crimes, and violent felonies such as manslaughter and attempted murder.
Mr. Handy holds a J.D. from Vermont Law School and a B.S. in Finance from Franklin Pierce University. While in law school, he distinguished himself as a strong advocate and legal writer, winning both the Constitutional Law Brief and Appellate Brief competitions. He also served on the Student Bar Association, representing the rights and interests of his peers. As an undergraduate, he was president of the Law Club and actively involved in student leadership.
Mr. Handy brings valuable insight to his clients from his time clerking with the Chittenden County State’s Attorney’s Office and from practicing with a private Burlington law firm handling criminal and personal injury matters. His experience ranges from complex first-degree murder cases to DUI defense and accident-related claims.
