She attended Auburn University on a tennis scholarship before earning academic distinction at Georgetown University. Suzanne’s career began in Washington, D.C., where she served as a legislative assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. Her experience in commerce, energy, immigration, and veterans affairs provided her with a strong foundation in the legislative process and policy. A member of the Florida Bar and Certified Family Law Mediator, Suzanne gained courtroom experience as an Assistant State Attorney for Duval and Pinellas Counties.
