Suzanne K. Rosen is a seasoned partner with over 20 years of experience guiding clients through complex bankruptcy proceedings, restructurings, and litigation. Her practice focuses on high-stakes Chapter 11 cases, avoidance actions, bankruptcy-related litigation, and out-of-court restructurings. She is recognized for her strategic counsel navigating complicated financial and legal challenges across various industries.
Ms. Rosen earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1996 and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado in 1992. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and numerous bankruptcy and district courts across Texas and Colorado.
Throughout her career, Ms. Rosen has represented debtors, creditors, trustees, and equity holders in major commercial bankruptcies involving energy, oil and gas, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing sectors. Her current and past representations include Eventide Credit Acquisitions, LLC; Mid-Cities Home Medical Equipment Co., Inc.; and the Official Committee of Royalty Owners in Chesapeake Energy Corporation’s bankruptcy—one of the first statutory committees for royalty interest holders.
Ms. Rosen has also advised on prominent cases such as the Crisp Real Estate Partners and Acis Capital Management restructurings. She has been involved in significant litigation, including defending Elevate Credit, Inc. in a $246 million fraudulent transfer action.
Ms. Rosen’s reputation as a leading practitioner is reflected in her repeated recognition by Best Lawyers in America (2022–2025), Lawdragon 500 Leading Bankruptcy & Restructuring Lawyers (2020–2023), and Fort Worth Magazine’s Top Attorneys in Bankruptcy (2023).
