Tracy L. Ashmore is an accomplished trial attorney with a strong focus on antitrust, real estate, insurance coverage, and complex business disputes. With over two decades of experience, she has built a reputation for skillfully managing high-stakes litigation and achieving favorable results for clients through both trial and negotiation.
Tracy earned her B.A. with distinction from the University of Colorado at Denver and her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law. She has been admitted to practice in the State of Colorado since 1995 and has been admitted before the United States Supreme Court. Her deep legal education supports her success in handling complex appellate, federal, and administrative cases.
Tracy has led cases in state and federal courts, as well as before agencies such as the Federal Trade Commission and the Colorado Attorney General. Her client roster includes major institutions like JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, and international companies such as Britco of Canada and Miletti, S.A. of Spain. She is widely respected for her ability to navigate challenging litigation matters and negotiate strong settlements.
Among Tracy’s significant wins are reversals and victories in the U.S. Court of Appeals, protection of intellectual property rights, and favorable outcomes in deceptive trade practice cases. Her advocacy helped clients avoid millions in liability and enforce key contractual and property rights in real estate and construction matters.
Tracy is also deeply involved in community advocacy. She served on the board of the Colorado Lawyers Committee and was recognized as Individual of the Year for her work as lead counsel in a class action pro bono case that led to Medicaid reform in Colorado. This reflects her dedication to justice beyond commercial litigation.
