About
Gabe Banks is an accomplished trial lawyer with extensive experience in criminal defense and civil litigation. Over the course of his career, he has tried more than 50 cases to verdict, ranging from felony and murder trials to complex, multi-million-dollar personal injury lawsuits. He began his practice after years of service as both a federal prosecutor and a defense attorney, giving him a balanced and well-rounded perspective in the courtroom.
Mr. Banks earned his B.S. with a correlated study in Race Relations from Vanderbilt University, where he played football on a full athletic scholarship. He continued at Vanderbilt in the Joint Law and Divinity Program, earning both his J.D. and M.Div. His academic and athletic experiences instilled the discipline, focus, and commitment that he now applies to his legal career and client advocacy.
Before founding his own practice, Mr. Banks served nearly a decade as a Deputy District Attorney in Fulton County, Georgia, supervising the Gangs and Drug Unit as well as the Asset Forfeiture Division. He also served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Tennessee and Georgia, prosecuting large-scale drug trafficking organizations tied to the Mexican Cartel. His early career included a federal judicial clerkship for the Honorable William J. Haynes, Jr., of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
After transitioning to private practice, Gabe Banks worked for five years at a leading Atlanta defense firm, where he defended large companies in negligent security cases and represented hospitals and physicians in medical malpractice litigation. Today, he uses that experience to represent clients in both criminal defense and personal injury matters, with a particular focus on negligent security claims. Known for his aggressive trial advocacy and commitment to justice, Mr. Banks helps individuals rebuild their lives after tragedy.
