Steven A. Goldstein is a Miami immigration lawyer at Pozo Goldstein, LLP, bringing decades of combined law enforcement and immigration law experience to his practice. A former Captain of Police for the Amtrak Police Department in New York City, he later served as a trial attorney for the Immigration and Naturalization Service through the prestigious Attorney General’s Honors Program and as a prosecutor for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Mr. Goldstein earned his undergraduate degree from Temple University in Philadelphia and his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law in Camden, New Jersey. He is admitted to practice before the Florida Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. His bar memberships include the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Florida Bar, and multiple local and professional associations.
Throughout his career, Mr. Goldstein has represented clients in both criminal and immigration courts, making him uniquely qualified to handle complex cases involving deportation, removal defense, and crimes with immigration consequences.
