Arthur B. Brandt has practiced law in Florida since 1997, handling criminal defense and family law matters with extensive trial experience. He has taken the lead in more than 50 jury trials across the state, building a reputation as a determined advocate who consistently works to protect the rights of his clients inside and outside the courtroom.

Arthur began his academic journey at The American University in Washington, D.C., where he earned his undergraduate degree in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government. He went on to complete his legal education at The University of Miami School of Law in Coral Gables, graduating with his Juris Doctor before entering practice.

Arthur’s legal career includes membership in both the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He has been actively involved in numerous professional associations, including the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and the St. Lucie County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, where he previously served as President. His recognition also extends to being listed among “The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100.”

Arthur’s leadership in the legal field is demonstrated by his appointment to multiple Florida Bar committees for 2023–2024, including those addressing children’s issues, support matters, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and continuing legal education. These roles reflect his commitment to improving legal practice and supporting fair outcomes within the family law system.

Arthur B. Brandt continues to be recognized as a respected leader in the legal community, balancing his dedication to client advocacy with service to schools, civic organizations, and professional associations. He has also made significant contributions to his community. As President of the St. Lucie County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, he successfully advocated for allowing defendants to waive appearances at certain court events, helping reduce unnecessary burdens on families. Beyond the courtroom, he serves as President of the Port St. Lucie West Lions Club and supports local education by sponsoring programs through the Martin County Education Foundation.
