Adam J. Paltz is a Texas attorney specializing in criminal defense and family law. His career is marked by a strong commitment to protecting the rights of individuals facing challenging circumstances, both in the courtroom and in their personal lives. His experience spans complex criminal trials as well as significant family law disputes.
Adam earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Wayland Baptist University, with a focus in Management. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he distinguished himself in advocacy through the Hyden Mock Trial Competition and as a student attorney at the Center for Legal and Social Justice, representing low-income clients in criminal defense matters.
Adam’s legal foundation began early, as he worked as a legal assistant for Carroll & Hinojosa while pursuing his undergraduate studies at night. In that role, Adam assisted in numerous trials involving charges such as murder, aggravated sexual assault, forgery, and possession of controlled substances. He also supported major family law and personal injury cases, experiences that broadened his skills and perspective.
Adam later clerked with Sareen and Bozza, where his dedication to criminal defense deepened. His commitment to excellence was recognized when he received the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association Scholarship. Since entering practice, he has been consistently recognized as one of the Best S.A. Lawyers.
