About

Stacy Rostad is the founder of Rostad Law, LLC, where her practice centers on family law, workers’ compensation, and civil litigation. She advocates for clients in matters involving divorce, custody, visitation, child support adjustments, guardianships, and grandparent visitation, and she frequently serves as a guardian ad litem in sensitive family disputes.

Stacy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Sociology, and Administration of Justice from the University of Wyoming in 1999 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2002. Following law school, she practiced at Nicholas & Tangeman, LLC from 2003 to 2017 before establishing Rostad Law, LLC, where she continues to represent clients across Wyoming and Colorado.

With over 20 years of legal experience, Stacy represents clients in state and federal courts across a wide range of civil matters, including workers’ compensation claims, contract disputes, and landlord-tenant issues. Her impact extends beyond individual cases—her advocacy helped shape Wyoming case law in the published decision Levene v. Levene, 340 P.3d 270 (Wyo. 2014).

In addition to private practice, Stacy serves as a Court Commissioner for the Albany County District Court, presiding over Title 25 hearings and juvenile matters since 2015. Her professional affiliations include the Wyoming State Bar, Colorado Bar Association, American Bar Association Family Law Section, and Albany County Bar Association. She has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Lawyers in Wyoming.

Beyond the courtroom, Stacy Rostad is active in her community through service on the Heart to Heart Pregnancy Center Board of Directors and volunteer work at Snowy Range Academy. Licensed in both Wyoming and Colorado, she remains committed to providing effective advocacy and guidance to individuals and families facing complex legal challenges.
