Jennifer Szymczak

Jennifer Szymczak serves as the Managing Attorney of the Gainesville office of Maddux Law, where she focuses her practice on civil rights litigation, criminal defense, and personal injury law. Since joining the firm in 2008 as a law clerk, Jennifer has built a distinguished career centered on protecting individual rights and advocating for justice in both state and federal courts. She has successfully tried numerous cases and has presented oral arguments before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2010, following her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where she developed a lifelong connection to her community and alma mater. She is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

A leader in the legal community, Jennifer is a graduate of the Florida Bar Leadership Academy Class V and an active member of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Florida Bar Criminal Law Section. She also served on the Florida Bar Advertising Grievance Committee, contributing to the ethical standards of the profession.
