Slawomir Platta

Slawek Platta is the founding partner of The Platta Law Firm and a dedicated advocate for injured individuals. His practice focuses on construction accidents, personal injury, workers’ compensation, car accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, and wrongful death claims. He is known for strong advocacy and a client-centered approach.

Slawek earned a Master of Laws in Comparative Law from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2000. He also earned Juris Doctor degrees in Canon Law from the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski and in Civil Law from the University of Warsaw in 1999.

Slawek is admitted to practice before the New York State Courts, the Court of Appeals for the State of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. His practice includes complex injury litigation matters.

Slawek has received several honors and recognitions throughout his career. These include recognition in Verdict’s Search Top NY Verdicts and Top New York Settlements, Super Lawyers New York Metro, the Award of Appreciation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, and the Annual Recognition Award from the Polish American Congress.

Slawek is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. He has also served as Grand Marshal of the Pulaski Day Parade.
