Sarita Garg

Sarita Garg is the President of Garg & Associates, P.C., where she leads with over eighteen years of diverse legal experience. Her practice spans multiple areas, including immigration law, family law, criminal law, and business law. For the past five years, she has focused on expanding and managing firm operations across Texas and New Mexico.

Sarita earned her Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law in 2001. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta in Canada, with majors in Psychology and Sociology. During law school, she participated in Moot Court, mediation hearings, and criminal defense internships, gaining practical courtroom experience.

Sarita began her career working on family-based and employment-based immigration matters, including TN, H-1B, F-1, and fiancé visas, as well as green card and naturalization applications. She also assisted in personal injury cases and supported clients in automobile accident and wrongful death claims.

In Texas, Sarita broadened her legal experience in property tax consulting and national tax advisory services, representing clients in appraisal board hearings and judicial tax proceedings to minimize their tax liabilities. Licensed in Texas since 2005, she has delivered strategic federal and state tax credit consulting to a wide range of clients, from individual taxpayers to Fortune 1000 corporations.

Sarita Garg continues to oversee immigration matters at Garg & Associates, P.C., while driving the firm’s strategic growth. She is admitted to practice all areas of U.S. immigration law. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Through her multifaceted legal background and leadership, Sarita helps clients navigate complex legal systems while expanding access to high-quality legal representation across the region.
