Sarah Armendariz

Sarah Armendariz is a partner in Dentons’ Real Estate practice group in Kansas City, Missouri, where she represents domestic and international financial institutions in complex commercial real estate transactions. Her work spans construction financing, acquisition loans, syndicated and mezzanine loans, and CMBS financing across various asset types.

Sarah earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in 2010, following the completion of dual B.A. degrees with honors in Classical Civilizations and Psychology at Indiana University in 2007. She is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Kansas, bringing over a decade of experience to her sophisticated lending and finance practice.

Sarah advises on transactions involving hotels, office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and multifamily developments. She also has deep experience with franchise agreements, ground leases, interest rate swaps, and borrower structures involving 1031 exchanges and multi-property financing. Her approach is detail-driven, ensuring effective due diligence and seamless closings.

Sarah frequently represents agent banks in syndicated deals, managing lender coordination during syndication and throughout the loan term. Sarah also advises participating and prospective co-lenders joining existing lending groups, providing key insight into the lifecycle of complex lending relationships.
