Joshua Fisher

Joshua Fisher is a partner at Dentons with a broad-based corporate and transactional practice, representing clients in mergers, acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. His clients include family-owned businesses, private equity funds, family offices, and entrepreneurs navigating complex, middle-market transactions across industries.

Joshua earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota in 2011 and holds a B.S. from the University of Kansas. He is licensed in Missouri and frequently counsels clients on entity formation, governance, and capital structures involving multiple equity classes and investment strategies.

Joshua has handled major transactions in the agriculture technology, aerospace manufacturing, insurance, mobile gaming, and financial services sectors. His experience spans both sell-side and buy-side deals, including sophisticated investments in real estate, healthcare technology, and logistics. He’s known for practical, strategic advice throughout each stage of the deal process.

In addition to his work on corporate transactions, Joshua is a leading authority on representations and warranties insurance (RWI), advising both policyholders and carriers on complex mergers, acquisitions, and other change-of-control deals. He works closely with Dentons’ global insurance team to tailor RWI coverage to evolving deal structures, cross‑border transactions, and international regulatory considerations.
