Rudolf H. Beese

Rudolf H. Beese is a partner in Dentons’ global Real Estate group, bringing more than 30 years of experience advising clients on corporate, real estate, construction, and energy law. Based in Kansas City, he represents clients across diverse industries, guiding them through significant projects, financings, joint ventures, and complex transactional matters.

Rudy earned his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1982, following a B.S. in Chemistry and Physics with a business concentration from Valparaiso University in 1979. He is licensed in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, and is admitted to multiple U.S. District Courts, offering comprehensive legal coverage across the Midwest.

Rudy advises on major domestic and international real estate developments across industrial, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. He guides clients through the full lifecycle of a deal—from site selection, zoning, and entitlements to leasing, financing, and closing. Rudy has deep experience structuring tax-incentivized transactions, including TIFs, CIDs, and public-private partnerships (P3s), and is known for handling high-stakes negotiations and complex capital stacks.

Rudy’s practice also includes extensive work in the energy and construction sectors. He assists national and global companies in developing data centers, renewable energy projects, and utility-scale infrastructure. He structures EPC, design-build, and other construction contracts while navigating regulatory and environmental frameworks tied to complex developments.
