Rudolf H. Beese

Rudolf H. Beese is a partner in Dentons’ global Real Estate group, bringing more than 30 years of experience advising clients on corporate, real estate, construction, and energy law. Based in Kansas City, he represents clients across diverse industries, guiding them through significant projects, financings, joint ventures, and complex transactional matters.

Rudy earned his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1982, following a B.S. in Chemistry and Physics with a business concentration from Valparaiso University in 1979. He is licensed in Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, and is admitted to multiple U.S. District Courts, offering comprehensive legal coverage across the Midwest.

Rudy advises on large-scale domestic and international real estate developments involving industrial, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use assets. He supports clients from site selection and entitlements to leasing and financing, including structuring tax-incentivized deals such as TIFs, CIDs, and P3 partnerships. He is recognized for managing deals that involve high-level negotiations and complex financing arrangements.

Rudy’s practice also includes extensive work in the energy and construction sectors. He assists national and global companies in developing data centers, renewable energy projects, and utility-scale infrastructure. He structures EPC, design-build, and other construction contracts while navigating regulatory and environmental frameworks tied to complex developments.
