James Polack

James Polack brings decades of diverse legal experience to clients across Nebraska, handling matters in litigation, real estate transactions, probate, estate planning, and debt collection. Known for his disciplined, client-focused approach, he has earned favorable outcomes at every level of the Nebraska court system, including appellate victories in the Nebraska Supreme Court and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Polack earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Creighton University School of Law in 1995. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate degree in Information Systems Management at the University of San Francisco. He also holds additional coursework from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and mediation training through the Nebraska Mediation Association.

Before launching his legal career, Mr. Polack spent six years in the United States Marine Corps, specializing in computer operations and high-level embassy security assignments in Haiti and Israel. Following his military service, he oversaw computer facilities at McDonnell Douglas and led user support teams, strengthening his leadership, technical expertise, and advanced problem-solving abilities.

In his legal practice, Mr. Polack has achieved notable success representing clients in complex legal disputes, property matters, and estate issues. His AV Rating from Martindale-Hubbell reflects the respect he has earned among peers for ethical standards and legal ability. He is licensed to practice in both Nebraska and Iowa, as well as in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
