Sandy McCorquodale brings over four decades of legal experience to individuals and businesses across Texas. Sandy earned his B.G.S. from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1980, followed by a J.D. from the University of Houston College of Law in 1982. He also studied at Schiller International University in Strasbourg, France, and attended courses at the California Institute of Technology. His academic background adds a solid foundation to his analytical and litigation skills.
Sandy has represented clients in a wide range of disputes, including personal injuries, wrongful death, brain injuries, and insurance claims. His experience extends to financial disputes, employment issues, fiduciary liability, and fraud cases. Sandy handles individual, class action, and mass action lawsuits in both state and federal courts across Texas, as well as in the Division of Workers’ Compensation.
Sandy has earned Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV Preeminent rating (2008–2021), has been recognized in Texas Super Lawyers (2011–2015), and was listed in Best’s Directory of Recommended Insurance Attorneys (2013–2020). Sandy is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts, multiple U.S. District Courts in Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States. His professional involvement includes the State Bar of Texas, where he served as past chair of the Native American Law Section.
